if you kiss your raw fed dog or cat.. they cant make you ill from any bacteria can they? i mean a healthy person. no immune deficiencies

i would say that cats need the stimuli of the outdoors. but they also need limitations. if the friend is irresponsible in other ways that she 'cared' for the cat then i could see your view better

i would try giving a kong full of peanutbutter or treats when you put him in his crate. does he have a blanket to burrow under in his crate? my dog loves covering himself and dislikes sleping without covers.

i have switched him to dehydrated raw for now.. a friend said it was ok to feed with kibble during transition only.
