As long as puppies and mom look well cared for, it is not a concern. Now if you said she was 9 years old and this was her 8th litter, then there would be a concern.

The horse in the first pic is a Paint, and it is hard to tell how bad he is under saddle, but he is bad too. You can see hip bones and his back bone sticking out. He was WAYYY TOO THIN. We have owned thoroughbreds-- my sisters is 23 so...

That is actually 2 separate horses. The one in the last photo is 28-29, but it was doing so poorly that it went down a few times and was so dehydrated that it couldn't piss right. They just gave it an IV and kept it there. I am going ...

It could be a lot of things. Dogs get sick with stomach bacteria and viruses just like people. Or your dog could have ingested something. Or it could be parasites. I would suggest keeping a close eye on him and taking him to the vet if you feel...

It is our County Fair this week. It has been miserably hot with a heat wave. Pigs, chickens and a few rabbits died at the fair due to the heat. My kids are showing their horse. I would say at our fair a solid 30 horses are ribby and too...

My vet in Michigan charges $100, which is the same price as a spay. I have heard of vets charging up to $800-900 which is ridiculous. They also shouldn't "NEED" to do all sorts of xrays prior. If they do, then I guess they aren't qualified to do t...
