A few other causes I have experienced over the years are worms (whip), coccidia, gaurdia, and food allergies. Medrondizole, albon, and fendbendazole clear up most of those things... as does the biosol. No fun... I hope your guy is doing better toda...

If your son wants to stay, maybe he could offer to pay the lady the difference between the old and new insurance companies if she will agree to stay with the one that allows his dogs. Otherwise, it may be time for him to house hunt.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, beyond the round the clock feedings which are grueling, my pups also had their mother to do the 'licking' part, which is the only way that young puppies can go pee or poo. That part is a lot harder to do than feeding. If...

You have your work cut out for you. The best thing to do would be to search the area for mom. She could be young and scared and just plopping puppies around where they come. The puppy will have a MUCH higher chance of survival with it's mother.

Last year I had 3 litters and a lot of younger dogs because I was just getting in to things slowly to try to do things correctly. Then... most of my girls came in season at once and I had 4 litters in January and I was finally able to quit my helli...

I raise boxers and I have participated in several spays (attached to c-sections), and in those cases everything is removed. No more mess or fuss, no more hormonal issue...

I agree with Icyhound I also use Ivermec (same active stuff as heartgard but much less expensive). It can be found in the revival pet catalog. Just be careful if you mix it wrong you can get a really sick dog. Also,
