Crate him when you leave or before you open the door to let someone in or out. They eventually get to like their crates, and he will be safe.

I also agree with Abbylynne. I have seen pretty much 'puppymills' that were completely within all regulations, I would say to the point they were more concerned with following generic regulations instead of looking at what is best for each individu...

A few other causes I have experienced over the years are worms (whip), coccidia, gaurdia, and food allergies. Medrondizole, albon, and fendbendazole clear up most of those things... as does the biosol. No fun... I hope your guy is doing better toda...

If your son wants to stay, maybe he could offer to pay the lady the difference between the old and new insurance companies if she will agree to stay with the one that allows his dogs. Otherwise, it may be time for him to house hunt.
