I agree with Abbylynne on the majority of her points. I personally would NOT purchase a APR puppy, and don't consider them the same 'quality' to standard as AKC.... but that's not to say that every pup registered in that registry is 'bad' or 'unhe...

Irma, I agree that they aren't doing what they should and it isn't fair for the dogs..... but.....right now you also have an opportunity to do a good thing by TEACHING the CHILDREN at least (since mom 'isn't responsible anyway') on how to care for ...

I agree that electric fence is a great option. We live on a main road and I have over an acre fenced off (you would figure that would satisfy them), but we had to put up electric to keep my dogs from going over. I don't feel it is any worse than th...

I would contact the original owner and ask to speak with her vet. I have personally never heard of a spayed female bleeding, but maybe the uterus was not remove. Be sure to contact the vet who preformed the proceedure and ask why she would still be...

I have to admit I am new to forums in general. Several times I have posted my opinion (and that is what it is) and ran-- never bothering or not wanting to look at what others of different opinions have said. I had no idea what kind of soap opera dr...

In my area there is a vet that actually will neuter at age 10 weeks or more, but I wouldn't recommend it. I had a friend get thier pup spayed at 4 months and now at 1 year she leaks urine all the time. Just a few drops frequently(even after she jus...
