I don't rely on temperature at all...other than just a guideline, but I would have dogs do exactly what your girl is doing all the time. It is very frustrating. Mine would bounce around from as low as 96-97 and back up to 98-99 for days and days.

You should get a second opinion from a different vet practice. Give them the facts/history and what has been done and see if they can come up with anything. Good luck!
