First of all CONGRATS on your new fur baby... I have never seen a puppy that didn't like to play or eat a treat... you said you have left the leash hanging on your puppy...go ahead and take it off him...find a little clip to clip the handle...

Hello everyone, I figured I'd intro myself real quick ~ I was a professional dog trainer for 32 yrs and had to give it up 3 yrs ago for health reasons, I trained mostly GSD's, Rotties,Labs and Pits, my training consisted mostly of basics and behavior...

Ok thats a huge dog and 2 very small kids . it could be prey drive kicking in, I had a GSD that had this problem with kids, the screaming kicked in the drive, she is going after the smaller of the 2 because well she is smaller and her voice is a high...

The toy itself won't teach the dog anything, you have to teach the dog and use the toy as a teaching aide..usually a rope, a ball and a bag of treats, time and tons of praising will get your dog to do just about anything...it's up to you if you want ...

I like watching the Dog Whisper too....but I have never been able to use anything he has done while training any of my pups.. I have a 7 yr old GSD that is my medical alert buddy ( I won't call him a service dog, he's not my servant)and my best ...

Logan is looking much better,coat wise anyway. and has put on a few lbs  when he sees me coming with the wash bucket he trots to me now...LOL...can we say SPOILED...

Judging from your post I am going to guess that you are about 16 and you are either posting for someone else,this is a made up story, or you see this horse daily and don't know how to go about ending his suffering....2 1/2 yrs is a long time for anyt...

thank you for your response~ I need all the advice I can get on this poor guy~ I thought about iodine, but wondered if I should spray him with proxcide first? I have been using Blue wound (the blue stuff) on the smaller wounds like barbwir...
