Have you looked into the shiba inu dogs? I've never had one but from what others have said they seem to be more "mature" and less clingy than other breeds.

Maybe they've changed the formula. We've used Frontline for years but about 2 months ago I spotted fleas on our dogs. I used Frontline which has never failed us in the past. For some reason it did not work this time. We are still battling fleas.
