In my opinion, an older shelter dog (1-3yrs) can actually be a great choice for a young family. Unlike a puppy they do not have the weak bones and have sometimes even already been around children.

To the above poster.. maybe it is simply because I know the harsh realities for shelter dogs but assuming they were "adopted out" wouldn't cut it for someone who really cared about the dogs. Just my opinion.

Lu has really bad allergies so we were instructed by the vet to use both revolution and advantage... Revolution has heart worm med and have pest treatment.

I tend to split them (not give her the same dose at once) and will sometimes skip ...

I was going to suggest looking in rescues before I came accross the breeding part. While I will admit these dogs are beautiful I am also aware that this particular color is prone to many health/skin problems...

I have to question a breeder...
