I have had Japanese Bobtails in the past. My last one Patti, vanished after getting outside after we moved from WA to NE. The ones I bought cost $400 plus $200 to be shipped (ironicaly) from IA to WA.

I have had my Poms shaved before, they love it! They come bouncing and twirling out of the groomers and do a mad case of the "zoomies" when we get home.

You should get a book on dog breeds or just use the internet to research. You might want to go to a dog show to see the various breeds in person. Of course, you should check your local humane society to see what is available. Petfinder...
