I love all dogs- mixed or purebred. I have to agree with the above post. Please consider adopting a mixed breed rather than buying a "hybrid". You can get the same mix of dog, save a lot of money and most importantly saving a life.

I don't think it's worth the risk. Can you take her out on a leash til you get her spayed? I know it might be a pain but it's better than the alternative.

Also I would think there are laws against dogs running loose especially if intact....

I really have to keep an extra eye on Maggie (beagle). When she did get a bit plump we just threw in some extra walks to help slim her down. I have a bad habit of giving too many treats. Both girls are now healthy weights and continue to take walk...
