Melamine has now been found in the Blue Buffalo kitten food.

Please check this out if you feed this brand:

Right now they have Blue Buffalo linked to melamine. For now the kitten food is recalled but if you feed this brand you might want to check for updates regarding this brand to see if dog food might be included.

If it was a prolonged episode I think I would go to the vet too. I would be to worried not to.

I am glad everything turned out ok.

If it wasn't pollen what about dust? Maybe a nose under the bed or something?

I am home cooking for now. After reading this a bit earlier and talking with my husband we don't feel it's worth the risk. Our girls had been eating the duck and potato allergy formula.

We just did the food route first for basset. It turns out that the food must have been the issue since her ears and skin have totally cleared up.

If it hadn't we would have done allergy tests. My vet said around $400 I thought.

Oh wow! I feed the duck and potato but have half a mind to discontinue it. I don't know what on earth to feed these animals. This is scary!!
