My advice would be to talk to your veternarian about this. You take a risk of your dog getting Parvo even if you take them for a walk. The risk is always going to be there. I would just ask the vet if 7 months is long enough.

I'm no vet but I've had this happen twice to two different puppies. I fed yogurt until the puppy was able to eat a canned food. After being on the canned food I slowly added Eukanuba. Good luck to you!
