They can stick a needle in the lump and send the stuff they retrieved out. it's called aspination I believe. It's always better to get it checked out

I posted back in October about my dog getting hives. and i know a few other people posted too. If your dog has hives, or breaks out.. Please Please Please get them check. My 8yr pittbull, would randomly break out in hives...
