YES, the puppy will expel the DEAD worms, those are round worms and if you see the dead worms makes sure to have him wormed AGAIN is a few weeks, as the wormer ONLY kills the adult worms and not the eggs that will grow into adults.

I agree with Scout, it is a good idea for a check up, we actually saw a dog that did this ended up having a brain tumor, I hope and pray this is not the case for you but you just never know.

Like Ruffian commented it does take time, at 7 weeks he would still be learning bite inhibiton from his littermates and also a good breeder would be teaching him it is not ok.
