When should I start feeding my 8 month English Bulldog regular food and not puppy food?

I just made the switch to Merrick Puppy Plate dry from Nutro Natural Choice puppy dry. My 6 month old was doing fine on the Nutro but I made the switch to Merrick. I feed him dry one day and the next day I mix some Merrick canned with his dry food....

Thanks for the info guys. I am really worried. What is the worst case scenario if he does in fact have hip dysplasia. Will he be able to lead a normal life? What can be done to help him? (surgery?, medication?) Any info is appreciated.

Yes, the bones can be broken by just putting them between your two fingers and pressing lightly. You can see the marrow in the bone.
