I say read about the catahoulas and then get one. They are the best watch and guard dogs. They will protect you and your kids to the death.

glad I could help even if it wasn't much. If it is scar tissue it will eventually go away but the vet told me it could take as long as 3 months.

I raise registered catahoulas and this pup is part catahoula, you can tell by the eyes and head. But I am thinking like the others part pit part catahoula.
