Bulldogs rank #2 (behind the shar pei) in potential health problems. In "The Control of Canine Genetic Disease" (George Padgett, D.V.M.) there are 73 things listed!!! I would suggest your aunt think twice before breeding.

I have never free fed my girls. They get fed twice a day, the same amount, so I know EXACTLY how much they are eating. I have also never given them cans-not even as a treat. The vet said their teeth, so far, are perfect. They do get a chew almost...

I do hope you realize that by "health tested"...I don't mean taking your dogs to the vet for annual shots.

At any rate, good for you for trying to get your dog into therapy. Do you plan to actually get him certified as a therapy dog?
