Scout, I feed Merricks, too, but I feed the Before Grain formula. The girls love it! Tried quite a few other foods, but this is the first one that Maggie eats with gusto. I used to rotate foods every few months, but now that she's eating so well.....

Yep, my girls love carrots, too. I give them baby carrots now and then for a treat. Low calorie, healthy, crunchy-they love them!

Ok, if you REALLY think he is sick because of the food, then why have you continued to feed him that same food for a year? Doesn't common sense dictate to change food if a dog is not doing well on a particular brand?

We used a de-icer like that when we used to raise beef cattle. We would put one in the old clawfoot bathtub we used to water them. Worked great!

There is a greater chance of getting a disease from a tick than there is of not removing the head, and that would come from saliva. Lyme disease is forever, and can be devastating (not to mention several other tick-borne diseases)
