Today I brought Maverick one of our ACD puppies (almost 9 weeks old) to my bridal shop. He has been the more aggressive pup, so I thought the socialization would be good for him. He done fantastic!!! Let a 2yr old pet him, of couse I has holding ...

At least there are people like you out there who are willing to try to help. Good luck finding the dogs.
My dogs always ride in a crate in my navigator, but not in our truck. Shame Shame on us, but yes they ride in the back.

I agree with several of the suggestions. Find the dog a place it can dig, such as a sandbox. And the other idea about burying the poop where it is not suppose to dig.

Our 10yr old blue heeler also snaps and barks at his puppies. We try to keep the 3 of them away, but sometimes it is really hard when we are bringing them into the house past his room. I have also wondered at what point we should scold him.

No I never thought she would kill them. She was a fantastic mother. She would let the family hold the pups, she would just sit beside you and watch. She would steal toys from Bandit (Dad) and place them in the whelping box. It was so cute.
