am just wondering..do animals particularly cats and dogs have souls? do the also go to heaven? do they have a life after death? just curious

am very depressed i just lost my cat for 3 years last nov.4,2007.. i saw him dumped in a garbage area.. i want to know what really happened you know how he really died...but no body could tell me.. he is just...
