No one else thinks the vet was pretending to euthanize animals and then repacking them for adoptions. It says in the article Buttons prognosis wasn't good. That's why she was to be euthanized the prognosis (which legally can only come from a vet)...

I saw some tablets you can give your dog by mouth that will make there poop smell different and they won't want to eat it anymore. I think Dr. Foster's & Smith sells it on their website. I can't remember the name, but I'll try to find it for you....
