I didn't take her in immediately for several reasons. The main reason being I figured she was someone's dog and not a throw out. There are no leash laws in this county and a lot of people in my area let their dogs roam. It's unfortunate, but true....

I've heard good stories and bad stories about ear cropping. Unfortunately I've only seen bad. I think Danes look great with normal ears. If I had a doberman, I would get it's ears cropped, but that's just personal preference.

It sounds like someone needs to lose their job. That is ridiculous. You should really get a fence for him too. It's just too risky to let him run around with nuts like that out and you never know when a car might hit him.
