She hasn't been to the vet for the leg problem yet. The last time it happened it cleared up before I could get her there and now it has come back today. I don't know for sure that it is popped out of joint, but I don't know what else it could be. ...

Lots of attention. Play some games. Eat some treats. Anything to take her mind to happy mode. Are you going to get a new foster dog? That will probably help the most. Just to have that playmate around.
