Kitana, I'm going to have to disagree with you on the dogs going out the door. At least as far as my dogs are concerned. The "leader" out the door varies from day to day. It isn't the same dog from day to day. It's whoever is more excited or needs to...

Thank you everyone for the inputs. I've read several different websites on it, but wanted some personal histories. I have read also that spay/neutering by six months severly decreases the chance of the attitude change at maturity. I was just curious ...

I never really thought about who goes in the door or out the door first. With my last dog I had him wait just because he was so big. With the four we have now I just open the door and let them out. And of course, as mentioned earlier, they are just s...

Well, I saw a couple posts mention them, but I would definitely recommend an American Pitbull too. They are awesome. I've never met a mean one and they are so patient with children. I have a 13month old and my pits are great with him. He crawls all o...

NoDogYet, there is NO WAY I could ever call animal control with a clear conscience when I know I could care for the animal rather than it run the risk of being killed. You know what I mean? Before I would do that I would line my horse gates with wire...

I do not own one but my friend does and they are little comedians. Do you have one?

He stopped by today, and he has a new collar with a big tag on it. He had a tag on the other day and that is how my husband was able to contact the owners. My husband said when he took him back that they live on a farm. He probably wouldn't leave if ...

Okay, fine in the sense that he DOES have an owner and they live nearby and fine in the sense that they live behind us thru the woods so, to get to our house he doesn't travel across any roads. Is it fine that they let their "intact" dog run free thr...

Well, here's the latest. The little minpin dissappeared from our house on Tuesday as strangely as he appeared. I hoped that he found his way home but had no way of knowing. Well, yesterday he showed up again. :) This time, however, he did have a tag ...
