I have found that the Preventic Tick Collar (NOT flea and tick) works great for up to 4 months. Active ingredient is Amitraz (same as in Mitaban dip used for demodec mange). It is also marketed as Taktic dip in the feed stores. I live in a high tic...

I love Petedge as well for all my grooming supplies (and of course the Best Buys!!)...keep an eye on the Best Buys as they regularly put the grooming tables on sale and that's how I got mine.
