I have had personal experience with them and it may be because that they are VERY tough to adopt from. Their facility is amazing and they spay and neuter all. I do rescue and they are one of the toughest rescue groups to get a dog from.

Try using hydrogen peroxide on a small cotton.. dampen it just a little and then wipe. I have a house full of dogs and that has always worked.

How about a Spinone or a Portugese Water Spaniel? The Spinone loves family and water. A friend of mine has one and they have 6 kids. The dog has enough energy to play all day, swim at the lake with them, doesnt shed a lot and is a great watchdog

I will try to later today. She ..Kelly..is a rescue from a puppy mill. She evidently had been given several caeseareans(not sure if i spelled this right) and now has several mammory tumors that we are trying to work through. Hopefully, none are mal...

Couldnt be without them....Actually, I like dogs more than most people...they love you honestly, appreciate you just being there, give back unconditional love and of course keep you warm on a cold night.

I am sorry for your loss. When we have had to do this we turn to the poem...Rainbow Bridge...It doesnt make the hurt go away but it seems to have a calming affect. You can post on this web site in the section that says "in memory"..

I would contact her vet and find out if she even went there with the dog. II agree that especially with a small dog not noticing the pup was pregnant is highly unlikely.
