The vet clinic I work at does some at that age for breeders or the humane society. I've never seen to may problems with it except in large and giant breeds that need the hormones for all the growth they have to do. I do think it can be a very good ...

With the ears besides the calcium being taken away to make bone as he grows at his age it's also being used to make new teeth. I've known lots of cropped pups that ears flop when they are teething. You could tape them up if you wanted.

Most dogs are about full grown by 2. What breed is it? Most of my danes have grow up until 2, then out by 3, but then again my current boy gained two inches between 2 and 3. Most breeders should be able to tell you how their lines grow.

I don't think the price for a purebred is ridiculous if paid to a reputable breeder. It reimburses them for all the time they took showing, researching pedigrees, doing health test, properly raising and starting to socialized puppies. And you aren'...
