My parents own a Great Pyr and I own a Maremma, both females and both live alone with their herds of sheep. They are bred to protect sheep, in heat or not they would never want anything to do with a coyote except to kill it!! Lots of our neighbors ...

If she has 8 week old pups then you can probably figure she will be in heat again in 2 months. Average time between heats is 6 months (can be longer or shorter) so 2 months pregnant, 2 months with pups, 2 more months and she is in heat again. But l...

I had my cat declawed, he has never had any litterbox issues or any other problems from it. He still climbs and attacks things as if he had claws. The reason I had him done was because he thinks he is a poodle (no joke, he really does!) and he play...
