I advise to never free feed; it leads to lazy eaters and/or overeaters. Put the bowl down, give the puppy 5 minutes to eat, then take the bowl away. If he doesn't eat everything, he'll be hungry at the next feeding and will eat his regular portion....

Well, I'm confused, AnimalLover. You start this thread by saying that you hate purebred dogs and they're a waste of money. However, on the Favorite Dog thread you tell us that your Swissy has gone BIS four times and you love her to bits.
