Wow, how horrible. I hope he's doing better now. My only thought is, what the heck is the vet thinking? I'd get a new vet, personally.

I'm definitely with everyone else...love Irish's answer! Going to a shelter and/or rescuing a mutt is definitley the way to go. Ummmmm...pardon my ignorance, but what exactly are those dogs you named? I'm guessing the one is mixed with a Shih tzu?

I have a pup that will not leave things alone. He chews shoes, socks, toys and (the one that gets me most upset) he chewed a crocheted blanket of my two year old's. How can I get the message across to leave things that aren't his alone? He has act...

I'm new here, also, but from what I'm reading Savannah and Penn are very knowledgable. I agree with both of them whole heartedly. If you have two PUPPIES, either of which are fixed, and the female comes into heat, KEEP THEM AWAY FROM EACH OTHER!! ...
