I agree, often times a scared dog will give reason to express his/her anal glands which is a very fishy smell.

Do people talk to him in an exciting tone of voice? When your husband comes home he should do what he has to do, say hi to you, the kids, go to the bathroom, what ever. If the dog follows him around fine but don't let him add to the dogs excitement. ...

I have never heard of doing a bile acid test as a pre op. Sounds like a good idea, do they only do it for certain reasons, or is that just a extra saftey precaution?

Thank you, we went to the surgeon again today and says he looks good. He will need another surgery to fix the luxation in his left ankle. X-rays will be done next week to see how everything is healing.

I am so sorry but why were his teeth in such bad shape. What was the first surgery? This doesn't sound right and you need to find out about pre op work ups.

I think the crate is great, but the doggy door for pups this young is a bad idea. It does not teach them that outside is to make as that is what they should learn outside to be. My pup learned at 4 weeks to go outside and never had an accident inside...

I am sorry, Usually baby teeth are pulled during spay or neuter, while they are out. If the dog is over a year an ECG should be done plus pre op blood work. I would contact the person you got the pup from because if it is a pup that young with heart ...
