I go camping frequently and last summer had a vet emergency and had no idea where to go. I never leave on trip now without first going online and checking out local vets, their phone numbers and their hours....god forbid something...

Pip ripped off a nail last spring and I couldn't believe the amount of blood that was involved. We rushed him to the vet and they basically did what you've already done for your dog.

As more people travel with their pets, many more hotel chains and smaller inns are allowing animals. We travel with the 2 dogs quite frequently and have enjoyed staying at a few places that are specifically geared towards travel with pets.
