Haven't tried those. My guys favorite treats are marrow bones that we fill with treats mixed with peanut butter and then freeze. Whenever we want them to be quiet for about half an hour we break out the "popsicles", they never get bored with them...

I've used the prong collar with a couple of dobies that I have fostered that were adults and had absolutely no manners. If fitted and used correctly they can be very effective and have no ill effects on the dog. Just be prepared when you are walk...
