My Ryssa is at the point of a skin biopsy and serum tests (we are waiting for the results). The biopsy was $275 which included anestheia and the day at the vet, the serum test was $180, and we also had a complete thyroid workup which was $137.

When you first posted yesterday I think you mentioned that the dog has or has recently had pneumonia...I would really check to see if he has has a relapse. He sounds like he's sick.

I feed my dogs Solid Gold Hund-n-Flocken, my dog with the allergies has done well on it. It can sometimes be a bit difficult to find a store that carries it, but I get mine at the training center I go to.

Maybe the pneumonia isn't resolving with the antibiotics. It sounds like he's telling you that he's not feeling well.

On the topic of allergies, one of the problems that my dog with the allergy issues has is hypothyroidism. My vet says it's a contributing factor to her itchiness. The medication along with the change in diet have helped.

My dog Ryssa has allergies to several different foods. One treat that we are allowed to give her is carrots..maybe your guy could have these. We get the baby carrots that are already peeled and cut and she loves them. Good luck with the allergie...

The other sad thing about these breedings is that many of these dogs then end up in rescues or simply abandoned because they don't measure up to the hype. People realized they have purchased a "mutt" and are no longer intrigued with them.
