..and that's the main reason why people are against it. :)
Dogs are so over-populated in general but Labs are very over-populated on their on own.

I think they are trying to say that there is enough labs in the world already and a dog that doesn't need to be bred for anything more than people telling you they would want one, isn't good enough.
