First I would say start keeping her indoors. Dogs should live with their families. that will make her less excited. she tears around your house because she is so happy you let her in. After a few days she'll calm down.
And get her her own toys-...

yup, it can't be allowed. Many dogs like this end up PTS because they cannot be trusted. If you can't find a trainer (I won't work with a dog like this) you just may end up sending him back to where you adopted him from and letting them PTS. :(

What I always have done for potty training is when you are home keep her onleash and tied to you, then she can't sneak off. you must be vigilant, no watching tvand forgetting she is tied to you. always be aware and as soon as she shows signs of needi...

Good for you, not wanting to hit your puppy. That's the quickest way to teach him to fear you. Positive reinforcement is best. :) Good luck with your baby. There's always a better way than hitting, and a young puppy can't be expected to know nipping ...

It's been recorded that chihuahuas are the most aggressive breed out there(not all chis are aggressive-my Ricky is a sweetheart)I have seen nice ones though too.
