I agree, he needs an xray. Could be something he ate that is causing an obstruction and not letting anything stay down. Is he having regular bowl movements? if not, that could also be a sign.

I was always under the assumption that you want to spay them before their first heat cycle.

if she pees on the bed, do not let her on the bed, or do not let her on the bed without supervision. I would recommend her to sleep in a crate at night to help with the pottying and also because of her size.

if she has been consistant before this I would assume it was caused by being spooked by the storm.

I dont think that the concern with being pulled from the mother too young is so much the health concerns but the socialization of the dog with its mother and litter mates.
