Thanks for the advice about not taking him to a class. I will suggest that they have someone come to the home. They definitely don't want to put him to sleep, they want to train him but just don't really know how.

I am actually living with some neighbors who have an English Bulldog that is not trained at all. It's really awful, they got him when he was about a year and a half old...
