I would also love to know if any gravel is fine for the fish tank or if I ought to buy the stuff they sell at the fish tank store.

I just changed the water in my fish tank. I took out like 75% of the water and then added some filtered water to the top.

In noticed a great deal of waste matter flurrying all around, which was probably some stuff stagnating at the bottom...

maybe there is a way to sort by "last post information?" other forum softwares seem to do that but I am no expert.

I am wondering if putting any kind of rocks at the bottom of my tank is fine, or do I need the ones that they sell at the fish store for tanks?

okay, that sounds good. I will check those links. until now, because the water looks really clean, I haven't really changed the water more than once a month.

i sure hope I am not endangering the fishes' lives. but it seems so far so go...

that is too too bad. don't put water in with the wish that is much different than the previous batch. if possible, keep them in some old water and add that to the new water but make sure the new water is like the old water.

how often do we need to change the water in the tank? I have a small tank with about 50 liters of water in it. It is filtered water and I have a water filter running.

can it stay clean for more than one month? it sure doesn't look dirty. ...

could these rules be explained more?

for instance, the all caps could be considered shouting. is that the problem?
