Personally, I wouldn't count on that. Her neurotic behavior may change the greyhound's for the worse. Are you willing to take the chance and perhaps end up with two "antsy" dogs?

What sort of "antsy" behavior is she exhibiting? Since "She does NOT play with other dogs," why do you think acquiring another dog (laidback or not) will help with her "antsy" issue?

Temperament heredity, as far as I can tell, is generally a BREED thing, a lot of times even a LINE of a BREED thing -- given a stable, loving home. I've never seen it broken down as to gender with a breed. I think, in your situation, it's a crap shoo...
