Although rescuing a pup is the best idea, IMO, there are many dog breed selectors available on the internet. They're helpful in nudging you in the direction of a breed of dog that will fit your lifestyle.

Okay, finally the light dawns. It's mixed seeds that produce a variety of veggies that could go in a salad. (But raw okra in a salad? Ick!)

The AVMA did a Xylitol study in 2006 and determined that it was detrimental and sometimes fatal to dogs.

So, yes, keep Xylitol, which is used in many sugar-free products, away from the pups.
