I only WISH my boy would eat anything but meat. He turns his nose up at veggies and fruits.

Since you've had both breeds, you probably already know the health issues of both. Missy could exhibit any of those. If both breeds have some of the same health issues, those will be the ones to especially look out for.

If you keep up with dremmeling your dog's paws, you'll never have to clip again. Dremmeling once a week is a cinch! Clipping monthly? Not so much, a dreaded chore... JMHO.

This sounds like it might be EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). Did the vet test specifically for it? (cTLI blood test after a 12-hour fast.)
