I don't believe a corgi chewing things up to bits is a corgi thing when dogs start being destructive, 9 times out 10 it's because there bored any working dog needs some kind of mental stimulation because of there intelligence try distracting the dogs...

My jack Russel terrier use to nip and at the exact moment he'd nip i use to let out a loud exaggerated yelp and ignore him for about 30 sec and then reward him for sitting or standing without getting excited he got the message in the end.

Another little tip is don't leave a bowl of water down so he can drink whenever he wants cos the more he drinks the more he'll pee give him a drink every 1-2 hours when you do give him water you'll be able to judge ...
