First of all has your puppy been kepted current on its shots? Is he lethargic or vomiting? Is he still eating? Anytime a puppy has diarrhea we get concerned because it could be number of things. When it has blood in it we always worry abou...

Wow, sounds complicated! My first question is, did you have any bloodwork done when you took him to the vet. Since he is probably around 8-10 years old that would make him "geriatric". Usually at my clinic (i'm a technician) we recommen...

Most of the cockers I've known have been really sweet, but they are very prone to skin/ear/eye problems. If you get one, start cleaning its ears regularly with an ear cleaning solution. (there's one you can get at the vets called Oticalm) It just h...

I'm sorry you didn't get your puppy, Tonka. I know you must be very disappointed. Hang in there, and I'm sure that you'll find the right breeder, with the right puppy for you. Good luck!

Thanks Dallas,
Yes, they did know. I told them she was a chewer, and that I would do everything in my ability to keep her from messing things up, but she's a dog, and when there is a nice soft flower bed to dig in and yummy flowers to eat......

Thanks. You are right though. I understand needing to respect their wishes since it is their home. And I understand not all people are like me in wanting animals around. And that's okay. It's just hard for me to understand people who don't like ani...
