Most of the cockers I've known have been really sweet, but they are very prone to skin/ear/eye problems. If you get one, start cleaning its ears regularly with an ear cleaning solution. (there's one you can get at the vets called Oticalm) It just h...

I would definitely take her back to the vet. Or at least call them and tell them what is going on. I worked as a vet tech for the past 4 years. The only thing we ever gave through an IV for worms was fluids if the animal was dehydrated. That wouldn...

We have a similar problem where I live. There is a yellow lab that lives across the street who is just out of control. They let him run loose in the front yard and he just runs and jumps on anyone who is outside. He also poops in other people's yar...

Thanks. You are right though. I understand needing to respect their wishes since it is their home. And I understand not all people are like me in wanting animals around. And that's okay. It's just hard for me to understand people who don't like ani...

OH! I'm so frustrated right now! My husband and I are living with my in-laws right now and they are doing everything they can to make us miserable. They are not animal people. My mother-inlaw has a house that looks like it stepped out of a magazine...

I had the same problem posting the other night. I finally just gave up. Hopefully now its working. Anyway, I can't believe there is a vet that would consider docking tails without anesthesia after only a few days. Both vets I worked for did it betw...
