My new puppy won't sleep at night he stays up and cries, I have had him for about a week. How do I get him to stop?

My golden know how to shake, sit, wave, down, beg, fetch, climb a few trees, and I'm still working on rollover. My pom dances, and spins. My pom-poo dances and hides.
