I think Big Buck has it on the head...the dog just simply needs to be crated or contained for a while. I crate my dogs at night till there at least 18 months. Just because Pups will be pups.

I think LPN does bring up a valid concern...but I think the risk is small. My dog found a dead seal on the beach that got hit by a shark or something...she at like 4 lbs of meat off it before I could stop her.
