Hello..Not sure if we can feel individual pups..takes expertise to really get that down pat..But..if you went at 4 weeks and the vet said 5...i am amased...My vet can not even say with 100% certainty with xrays..and they can not be done till the sk...

i might be way off base here but it kind of sounds like reverse sneezing to me...i had a teeny poodle who did iut...still does and she is over 12 now...the key that striks me is when she would get excited and do it..grabbing her and holding her muz...
