I know it was daytime television, and they have to be careful with what they show, but honestly, I've seen much, much worse. I actually don't think they went in-depth enough. JMO...

I agree that the dog/s that played Sam are just the right size for a Shepherd. Keep in mind too, that the dog probably looked so small b/c Will Smith is a big guy.

It is best to introduce them on neutral ground. This way your current dog won't get territorial. Or at the very least, not in the house, in the yard. Let them play, but supervise to make sure it doesn't get too rough. You shouldn't have a problem...
