I think probably b/c it is not a recognized breed yet by the AKC or U(nited)KC. Generally an Alaskan Husky is a Siberian Husky crossed with a hound or the like. ...

I walk our four adults at the same time. They are just on leash, two on each side. I keep them either at my side or walking behind. You don't want that many dogs getting the idea they are supposed to walk you! Now, I am not a big person (116 lbs)...

I think it's been said on this forum before, but I'm actually more uncomfortable around little terrier-type dogs than the strong breeds. Probably b/c I've only ever been bitten by the little ones.
